This Happy Independence Day comes a few days late, because I spent my 4th at cookouts, cookouts, cookouts! Fireworks were rained out, but we did manage to get a few Sparklers going. In short….. BOORRING! Anyway, I found it quite interesting to notice the amount of American pride I saw this year. To my family, the 4th normally equals a pig-pickin’, but this year everyone was decked out from head to toe in their finest reds, whites, and blues. I just didn’t feel right without wishing you a Happy 4th!
