Janet Jackson’s Breast Makes it Into the Dictionary

Well not exactly, but the word does. In the daily news over at Vogue.com they broke this story today…

THE fashion world never stands still – and apparently, nor does the language we use within it.

The terms “fashion forward”, “nail bars”, “credit crunch” and “wardrobe malfunction”, which famously refers to Janet Jackson‘s
breast-baring incident at the 2004 Super Bowl, have all made the cut to
be included in the latest edition of The Chambers Dictionary.

As dictionary editor-in-chief Mary O’Neill explains: “The new words
we added to this 11th edition of The Chambers Dictionary paint a vivid
picture of current interests and concerns.”

Justin Timberlake says “I Cut My Own Hair”…and it looks like it too?

Celebrity Examiner – Justin Timberlake: ‘I cut my own hair’ – Examiner.com

Justin Timberlake doesn’t go to fancy salons to get his hair
styled. Not anymore, at least. He shears his locks himself,
according to the Sun:

“I don’t require hair or nail appointments. I actually cut my own hair — that’s why it’s all the same length.”

He also told Heat magazine that despite his success, he remained very grounded.

Justin said: “I don’t like divas and I don’t want to be one. People have a perception that I might be that way.”

Good that he is that down to earth, I mean he could build a barber shop in every city if he wanted too.

Justin Timberlake Originates the trucker hat?!

JT (Justin Timberlake) spoke out in People magazine about his style credit. This conversation sparked as he laughed, “It’s funny, I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps,” says Timberlake, 27, in a cover story for Fashion Rocks.

According to Justin T, he and his best friend Trace Ayala “were wearing them when we were seventeen.”

Justin doesn’t consider himself a “trendsetter.” “Honestly, I don’t walk out of my house thinking, Man, I hope somebody thinks this looks cool!” he says. “There’s some stuff I wear that people think is not cool.”

But he’s trying to change that. He has a new collection with Swedish fashion designer Johan Lindeberg which he describes as “Southern heritage meets forward European innovation.”

One word… HATER! Yes, you were rocking it JT, but 1) we don’t remember and 2) it must not have looked too cool, because noone picked up on it.
