Sheckler Dominates Thrasher’s Bust Or Bail Contest

I think I’m kinda starting to fall for this kid. Thanks to MXNewsOnline.com, we found out that Ryan Sheckler is still DOMINATING the pavement!

Ryan Sheckler dominated Thrasher’s Bust or Bail event in San Francisco held this weekend at Paul Revere High School where he took the win by throwing down more tricks than any other competitor.

Sheckler stunned the crowd by throwing tricks such as a backside 180 kickflip and a 360 flip down the set of stairs. The infamous Paul Revere 16-stair rail proved to be intimidating to even the most seasoned street skaters and had some of skateboarding’s heaviest hitters backing down. Jake Phelps, editor of Thrasher Magazine, made on demand requests for tricks , and Sheckler delivered, showing off a hardflip and backside lipslide on command to the down the crowd’s amazement. Sheckler walked away with an engraved original piece of the historic rail as part of his 1st place win.

I can’t believe how much I’m following this story! According to mmamemories.com, Randy Couture felt disrespected by UFC management. Couture promised that he would not back down from this fight until he got what he wanted. Looks like he won! He has a 3 fight deal with Zuffa, which begins on November 15th against Brock Lesnar in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Bristol Palin’s Baby Daddy ?!?!

I don’t make the news, I just report it.

According to Sawf News, Bristol Palin’s baby daddy has been identified as 17-year-old hockey player Levi Johnston who describes himself on his MySpace page as a “[bleep]in redneck” and acknowledges he is in a relationship, but says “I don’t want kids.”

“But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s- – – and just f – – -in’ chillin’ I guess,” says the very eloquent lad. “Ya f – – – with me I’ll kick [your] a$$,” he added.

Johnston attended alternative school Burchell High School last year.

Bristol is the 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

Earlier on Monday, September 1, Sarah released a statement announcing that Bristol was five months pregnant, intends to keep the baby and to marry the father of her child.

A Possible Randy Couture UFC Return?!?!

I don’t keep up much with the UFC, but even I’ve been keeping up with this one, the battle between Randy Couture and the UFC.

According to MMA Junkie:

“Reigning UFC heavyweight champion Randy Couture could return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship by year’s end as part of an out-of-court settlement with the organization.

Multiple sources close to the fighter, speaking exclusively to MMAjunkie.com, today said that Couture is willing to fight once more for the UFC, possibly before the end of the year, as a potential resolution to his ongoing legal battles with the fight promotion.

However, Couture himself could not be reached for comment, and it’s unknown if the UFC is even considering the offer at this point.

According to one source, as part of Couture’s concession to return the octagon, the 45-year-old UFC hall-of-famer would want to walk away “clear and free” from the organization after the bout.

Zuffa LLC officials believe, per his fight contract, that Couture’s next two bouts must be in the UFC. Couture had said that he wanted his resignation upheld so he could move on with his career, including a potential bout with Emelianenko outside the UFC.

Despite Couture’s resignation, during a UFC 82 press conference in March, UFC President Dana White said that he had offered Couture a fight with now-interim UFC heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira on two different occasions. Although the fight never came to fruition, White has never ruled out the possibility of Couture returning to the organization.

Couture’s UFC employment contract expires on Oct. 11 of this year.”

The UFC is on the rise and it seems like a pretty dumb move for Randy to have resigned. However, it appears that he’s getting some smarts and looking to salvage what remains of his future as a professional fighter. Rumor has it that Randy could return to fight sometime in November.

Well if you haven’t gotten the point yet that gas prices are too high, it’s hurting Diddy’s pockets, so something must be done! Diddy is having to fly commercial like us regular folks. MADNESS I tell ya.. MADNESS! According to Diddy, gas prices are “too f***ing high.” How is he gonna preserve his sexy next to a crying baby and a peasant!

Diddy posted a video blog on his YouTube account complaining about having to fly commercial. He rants: “Gas prices are too mother***ng high. As you know, I do own my own jet and I have been having flying back and forth to LA pursuing my acting career. Now, if I’m flying back and forth, like, twice in a month that’s like $200,000 or $250,000 round trip. F***k that. I’m back on American Airlines right now. Ok? Your boy Diddy right now is on American Airlines. Look. I want to give a shout out to all my Saudi Arabian brothers and sisters and all my brothers and sisters from all the countries that have oil, if you could all please send me some oil for my jet I would truly appreciate it. But right now, can you believe it, I am actually flying commercial. That’s how high gas prices are ok, so I feel you. Look, I’m at the gate right now. Da Brat Serves 3 Years?!

According to Concreteloop.com, Da Brat has been sentenced to 3 years in prison, Friday, as a result of hitting and slashing a women in the face with a bottle of rum last Halloween. TMZ is reporting that Da Brat will also receive 7 years probation.

About six members of Harris’ family wept when a sheriff’s deputy took her into custody. “I love y’all,” Da Brat said as she was led out of the courtroom. “We love you, too,” the relatives replied in unison.

The incident happened at a Halloween party at Studio 72 nightclub (owned by Jermaine Dupri) last year. The rapper got into an altercation with the waitress and was said to have picked up a bottle of rum and smashed it into the women’s face. The victim was taken to the hospital with cuts to her face and above her eyes. The woman suffered permanent facial scarring.
